FIFA Prize Money Distribution
The FIFA World Cup 2014 is going to kick off in Brazil June
12 and the excitements thrills and preparations for the big event is done. FIFA
is the biggest in the world in terms of prize money it ranks one of the most
paying event. The total prize money for the tournament was confirmed
by FIFA as US$576 million (including payments of US$70 million to domestic
clubs), a 37 percent increase from the amount allocated in the 2010 tournament.
Before the tournament, each of the 32 entrants will receive US$1.5 million for
preparation costs. Once at the tournament, the prize money will be distributed
